Perhaps you have considered
starting an Internet business, but just haven't taken
the plunge yet. Maybe you are still trying to come
up with that killer idea, then you will launch your own
web business. Maybe you have that killer idea, but
starting an Internet business seems so complicated.
Todd and Jean, owners of

How could we know? After all, we are successful
Internet marketers. Well, about one-year ago, we
were feeling exactly the same way.
In July, it will be a year
since we purchased StreamsOfMoney. I thought it
would be interesting to reflect back on what motivated
us to purchase the business and where we are today.
I had always dreamed of
owning my own business, but never felt I had the time to
do anything about it. One day, while on a business
trip, I picked up a book called Rich Dad, Poor Dad
by Robert Kiyosaki. I couldn't put this book down.
Since then, Jean and I have re-read the book a number of
times.
After reading Rich Dad,
Poor Dad, I realized that I was on the path of
Robert's poor dad. If you are working a salary job
for someone else and you consider your home your
greatest asset, you are probably on the same path.
Robert explains that an
asset is something that puts money in your pocket.
Most people consider a car an asset. How much
money did your car put in your pocket last month?
The key to financial freedom is ownership of real assets
that put money in your pocket.
After reading this book, I
was on a mission to get some real assets. I
considered several possibilities, including a sandwich
shop, rental houses and a coin operated car wash.
Then, my good friend, Rick Adams, enlighten me about
Internet business.
I quickly realized I liked
this idea. Fortunately, Jean liked the idea too.
It was something we could do together. It was
inexpensive to start and had huge potential. I
don't have to worry about people not showing up to work.
I don't have to worry about a renter trashing my house.
I don't have to worry about someone changing their oil
in my carwash bay.
The business has performed
beyond our expectations. Jean now runs
StreamsOfMoney full-time with assistance from me on
evenings and weekends. We employ others that are
helping us develop new web businesses.
If you are still thinking
about getting started in Internet business, DO IT.
There is no reason to delay. It is so easy and
inexpensive to get started with one of our Turnkey
